Having been a vodafone customer for the last 10 years i can honestly say i haven't had any problems. The customer support could be a little better, but generally they have been consistent at providing good coverage and competitive rates.
I was with with Vodafone 2 years ago and had no problems with them. I had an upgrade and all was fine. I then changed to O2 online which was much cheaper. That was the mistake of a lifetime that year was nothing but problem after problem. Consequently, I have just changed back to Vodafone.
I have only ever used Vodafone as my network provider since I have had a mobile which is about 10 years. On the whole they provide a good service for Network coverage and competitive rates. However I do think they should have a customer loyalty scheme which rewards customers for there ongoing valued business.
I have been with One2One, Vodafone and BTCellnet. One2One was very cheap - however coverage was abysmal. BTCellnet was generally good coverage - but poorer in-buildings. I have been with Vodafone for 2.5 years now - and plan to stay with them.
